A group of selected teachers has been started with discussing about the
way they practice art education in their classes. It is important to know
what is the main idea of the content of art in the school and also how the
governmental curriculum can be practiced.
To get new information about the way an image can be build up all the
teachers started to work by themselves in the same way they could work with
the children.
The process is important to understand why the product is like it is. During
the process it is possible to give new information and the teacher has to be
able to see what kind of possibilities there are in each of the works. It is the
maker who decide what he/she will use, but the teacher is an intermediary in
the process. This process is more than looking after the own taste and
preferences. A teacher has to have an open mind and open eye for other
solutions which are available.
