In
summer 2007 there was a presentation of the history of Haukivuori in
the AllaprimA MuseuM.
In this part there will be published an overview of this history.
This exhibition is based on the material from the book:
PERINNE ALBUM
and documents and images from the local society.
The exhibition gives an impression of the way individual persons
have personal memories and what stories they can tell about their
relation with the past.
During winter 2007-2008 there are invited artists in the
artist-in-residence program who have the intention to continue with this
information.
It will be interesting to collect all the personal stories and save
these for the future as a human document of the history of a small
village in the rural area of Finland.
The historical way of building in the country site is another
interesting item to investigate and archive for the future. Collecting
information and images of lost buildings is one of the results of this
exhibition
