Spreken doen we allemaal, net als zingen, we kunnen het ‘vanzelf’. De eigen stem is zo vanzelfsprekend, altijd klaar om uit te drukken wat je beweegt, ontroert, kracht wil bijzetten, raakt of wat je wil verbergen, en heeft oneindig veel potentie.

Zingen, spreken maar ook zuchten, flemen, juichen, kreten slaken, foeteren... De stem is ons intens vertrouwd maar kan ons evenzeer verrassen : in ontroering, ontzag, huiver...

Universeel menselijk, overal direct herkenbaar en met ongekende expressieve varianten is de stem een boeiende bron om om verder te verkennen en te ontwikkelen.

De stem is zo uniek en persoonlijk als een vingerafdruk; tegelijk kan deze zich samenvoegen met vele andere stemmen, daarin opgaan en, samen met andere, meer worden dan de som der delen en kan uitmonden in schitterende harmonie.

a. exploration of the voice/experiences of the own voice and with others
b. listening to examples of Western history
c. listening to examples of other cultures
d. if possible: using other acoustic possibilities in the outside area and be inspired by the sounds of nature
