Every book (groepsboek) exists of 8 lessons painting, drawing, handicraft and textural art.

Each book has the the same central items:
humans, food, animals, letters & signs, environment, nature, traveling, playing, living.

The assignments are specially chosen for each age group. Young children are working with items close to their direct impressions and older children are working in a bigger area.

All lessons have the same system:
1. introduction the lesson: look at and discuss the images
2. assignment: discuss the assignment and the goal of the lesson
3. guidance: suggestions to give guidance to the children, possibilities to present the works
