  • TIINA MIELONEN - FINLAND - COLLABORATION PROJECT CROSSROADS SAKSALANHARJU

  • The international collaboration project CROSSROADS SAKSALANHARJU has started in August 2009.
In August the first two artists were exploring how to collaborate in artistic way and to find inspiration from the environment and each other.

The visual artist Tiina Mielonen is born in Finland and has studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. Tiina Mielonen is a painter focusing on contemporary landscape imagery and the process of perception and interpretation. Her personal view on the landscape will bring new elements in the traditional view of landscapes. Exchange in ideas, vision and practice are fundamental parts of the collaboration project. The cross-border will go in different directions.

Tiina Mielonen will participate in March 2010 together with Alexander Nikitin and Marja de Jong.
