Este primer mes en Saksala fue muy productivo e interesante.
Empecé a trabajar con unas telas que traje y estoy haciendo collages
sobre cuadernos.
El lugar esta bueno porque si querés podés estar todo el día en tu
habitación porque tengo cocina.
Me llevo bien con los otros residentes. Si necesito compañía la consigo
y si quiero trabajar y estar solo también. Hemos comido juntos varias
veces y siempre nos ayudamos.
Además ayudo con la calefacción, con el mantenimiento y con las
exposiciones.
Fui varias veces a la ciudad y al pueblo por comida y materiales, pensé
que no iba a encontrar ni frutas ni verduras con este clima pero las hay
y a precio razonable. Un litro de leche cuesta 60 céntimos…
De a poco voy conociendo a los finlandeses y sus modos y costumbres.
Estoy llevando a cabo el plan de trabajo que tenía en mente.

This first month at Saksala has been very productive and interesting.
I started to work with some canvas I brought and doing some collage on
books.
The place is nice because if you want to you can be alone in your room
all day because you have kitchen.
I have a good relation with the other residents. If I need company they
are friendly and if I want to work and be myself its okay. We have eaten
together several times and always help each other.
I´m also helping with the heating system, maintenance and expositions.
I went several times to the city and to the village for food and
materials, I thought I was not going to find any fruits or vegetables
with this weather but I did, and have reasonable prices. A litter of
milk cost 60 cents…
Little by little I´m getting closer to Finnish ways and costumes by
meeting friendly neighbors.
I’m developing the working plan I had in mind.
