  • The international collaboration project CROSSROADS SAKSALANHARJU has started in August 2009.

    Alexander Nikitin is born in Saint-Petersburg Russia and has studied at the Repin Academy. Since the nineties he lives in Mikkeli Finland and as a migrant artists he experiences and knows about the difference in culture between Russia and Finland. Based on his experiences with both cultures and his artistic qualities to express his observations he is selected to participate in the collaboration project CROSSROADS.  SAKSALANHARJU.

    In March 2010 the painter Alexander Nikitin has participated in the collaborative project together with the visual artists Tiina Mielonen and Marja de Jong.
