The 2nd month has a strong influence on me and on my way of making art;
I has learned a lot from the way to behave and to work alone and in confrontation to
myself.
It is a good experience for me because by working in a place without our day by day references like
TV, radio, people, metro, city life, it has given me strength and self confidence about my future goals.
This residencie is not as other residencie because it gives a lot of opportunities that we do not see first.
It is a place where our mind and our body can work
and find his own limit. I do not know now how it has changed my point of view on things, but I know that I have clearer goals and I feel more involved in my work .

*My work is about being engaged, involved.
I work by taking images that I can find in magazines, supermarkets, in the streets.
During this residence in Saksala I present three different kind of work:
1. drawings about nature:
In my opinion the relation between the human being and nature is getting worse, I think that people of everywhere should be more humble with nature because we are one part of nature and we must live in harmony with it.
My work about nature is presented as posters similar to the social and political posters put on the wall in the streets. I show a fish strike, bears who are like militant and the sentence «exigeons un culturudum» which is a play on words because I transform the word «referendum» with «culturudum»;
this means that people need more culture in their life because this is
part of our natural way of living.2. drawings about war and the contradiction of war:
I was working on making drawings against the idea of war. I do not talk about any specific war and I do not think that war is a solution for people.
I made one wall painting and also drawings where one has this sentence «La bombe est jolie» which is a play on words and means both «the sex bomb is beautiful» and «the rocket bomb is beautiful».
3. drawings of simple things with simple tools:
Construction, start, development of a work is also a completed work. I was inspired a lot by stones laying on the beach of the lakes of Haukivuori and I was drawing the shapes of this stones which made me remember to the shapes of human faces.
