The old vicarage in Pieksämäki is the place where the wife of president
Kekkonen has gowned up.
The church of Pieksämäki has been founded in 1573 and is now a cultural
center that organizes art exhibitions, art courses and has a regional museum
in the attic.
It is the intention to start an artist-in-residence in this place and to
co-operate with other regional artist-in-residence programs.
