CÉLINE ROESTHUIS - THE NETHERLANDS

In winter 2008/2009 CÉLINE ROESTHUIS is one of the artists staying in the residence.
Researching the art education methods and built up a series of lessons for adults and secondary school has been a part of the internship.

Introduction of an art lesson in the secondary school of Haukivuori.
Work and guidance of the pupils during the art lessons.
Some results created during the art lessons.	Subject: landscape and a city comes in it.
An art lesson needs good information about the subject, the material and possibilities by professional artists.
Diversity is not the result of total freedom, but the result of an individual handwriting, view and selection. Art lessons finally develop the personal view of children and young people.
