exchange Koning Willem II College - Tilburg - the Netherlands

	On Thursday morning a school class from the Ylä-Aste arrived to work together with the pupils of the Koning Willem II college in an art workshop. The intention was to make a piece of art in which both countries were represented. Visual art is very individual and it is very difficult to integrate an own way of working into another. This time every one made two pieces of art on two cardboards. The backside was done by the exchange partner. Finally two countries were back to back in one work.

	In the afternoon there was the introduction of a Finnish canon Kanootin kapean vesille työnsin seuraan nyt majavaa vaeltavaa The three groups were also making and studying a composition based on the impression of the silence in this part of the world. The youngsters come from an hectic urban area and here they can feel and hear a world without these sounds. The music will express their impression. Finally they listen to each other and mention the different way of working with the same material.
